It wasn’t about the perfection of the decorations or the size of the boxes under the tree; it was about the presence of family and the joy of shared traditions. As the evening wound down and the embers in the fireplace glowed, we felt a deep sense of gratitude.Christmas may only come once a year, but the memories we made this season will definitely keep us glowing until the next one.

 On November 26th, we pause to celebrate more than just a document; we celebrate the vision, the struggle, and the legal heartbeat of our nation—Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas). It was on this day in 1949 that the Constituent Assembly of India formally adopted the Constitution, marking the beginning of a new era of justice, liberty, and equality. A Tribute to the Architects of Democracy Our celebration began with a solemn reading of the Preamble. There is a profound power in hearing those opening words—"We, the People of India"—echoed in unison. It serves as a reminder that the ultimate power of our democracy resides not in buildings or offices, but in the citizens themselves. We paid special tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Chairman of the Drafting Committee, whose brilliance ensured that our Constitution became a living document capable of evolving with time.

  Charity is not merely an act of giving; it is a declaration of our shared humanity. In a world that often prioritizes "getting," the bravest thing you can do is give. Real impact doesn't require a fortune; it requires a moment of empathy. Whether it is a shared meal, a donated book, or a few hours of your time, your "small" contribution is often the answer to someone else’s prayer. Remember, we don't give because we have abundance; we give because we know what it feels like to have a need.

  The fragrance of Thumba flowers and the rhythmic beat of the Chenda have returned to the air, signaling the arrival of Kerala’s most beloved festival. Onam is not just a harvest festival; it is a profound celebration of equality, prosperity, and the legendary homecoming of King Mahabali. This year, the festivities felt more vibrant than ever, reminding us why this tradition remains the heartbeat of every Malayali, no matter where they are in the world.

  The air felt different this morning—charged with a sense of pride, unity, and an overwhelming gratitude. Today, as the tricolour unfurled against the vast blue sky, we didn't just celebrate a date in history; we celebrated the living, breathing spirit of a nation that continues to redefine what it means to be free. Our Independence Day celebration was a vibrant tapestry of culture and reflection. It began with the solemnity of the flag-hoisting ceremony, where the National Anthem resonated with a depth that brought a hush over the crowd. Standing together, from young children waving miniature flags to elders who remember the journey of our nation, the sense of "Unity in Diversity" was palpable.

  Returning from the International Conference on Mental Health, my primary takeaway is a profound sense of hope. While we often discuss mental health in isolation, this event proved that the most effective solutions are born from global collaboration and diverse perspectives.

 

 Master the Pressure: Insights from Our Capacity Building Programme on Stress Management In today’s fast-paced professional environment, "stress" is often treated as an inevitable byproduct of success. However, our recent Capacity Building Programme on Stress Management challenged this notion, proving that while pressure is a given, stress is manageable. The session was designed not just to discuss the theory of burnout, but to provide actionable tools for mental resilience. Participants explored the biology of stress, identifying how the "fight or flight" response affects decision-making and long-term health. The highlight of the program was the shift from reactive to proactive management.

 The National Service Scheme (NSS) is one of India’s most significant student-led initiatives, aimed at developing the personality and character of the youth through voluntary community service. Launched in 1969—the birth centenary year of Mahatma Gandhi—it operates under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The core philosophy of the NSS is captured in its iconic motto: "Not Me, But You."
