Constitution Day : Our Right ,Our Pride
On November 26th, we pause to celebrate more than just a document; we celebrate the vision, the struggle, and the legal heartbeat of our nation—Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas). It was on this day in 1949 that the Constituent Assembly of India formally adopted the Constitution, marking the beginning of a new era of justice, liberty, and equality.
A Tribute to the Architects of Democracy
Our celebration began with a solemn reading of the Preamble. There is a profound power in hearing those opening words—"We, the People of India"—echoed in unison. It serves as a reminder that the ultimate power of our democracy resides not in buildings or offices, but in the citizens themselves. We paid special tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Chairman of the Drafting Committee, whose brilliance ensured that our Constitution became a living document capable of evolving with time.
